Zero sequence over current protection
Zero sequence, positive sequence and negative sequence are artificially decomposed into three components in circuit analysis. Generally, when all wires of the same circuit pass through the same current transformer (also called zero sequence transformer), the secondary of the transformer has no output, that is, the zero sequence current of the circuit is zero. When the line leakage occurs (leakage occurs below the transformer), the sum of the current vector passing through the transformer is no longer zero, and the secondary transformer will have output current. This principle can be used for leakage protection.
