对于恒功率电伴热带来说，温控器能够控制电伴热带温度
在电伴热系统中，经常会用到温度控制器。对于自限温电伴热带来说，可根据环境自动调节温度，通常情况下是不需要安装温度控制器的，但在温度控制精度要求较高的情况下，就需要加装温度控制器。

对于恒功率电伴热带来说，温控器能够控制电伴热带温度，而且可以精确的调节温度。如果没有温度控制器，被伴热体达到要求的温度，恒功率电伴热带还会继续放热，造成热能的浪费，管内温度过高会导致管内介质发生化学或物理反应。
